Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Snap Out ("Snap Out", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Snap Out mobile application and this website (together, the "Service").
The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run the app, we do not sell your personal information, we do not use your data for third party advertising, and you can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing collabs@prayerlock.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect the identifier you sign up with, such as an email address, and basic profile details you choose to add.
- Content you enter. Anything you type into the app, such as goals, notes, reminders, or settings, so the app can show it back to you.
- Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply and follow up.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Basic, aggregated information about how the app is used, such as screens opened, features used, and session length, so we can fix problems and improve the product.
- Device and diagnostic data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, and crash or error logs.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data unless you explicitly grant permission for a feature that needs it, and only for that feature.
- We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross app behavioral advertising.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To create and secure your account and keep your data in sync across your devices.
- To send transactional messages such as sign in codes, receipts, and important service notices.
- To send reminders and notifications you have turned on, which you can turn off at any time in the app or in iOS settings.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve performance and reliability.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. Legal bases for processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent where required, such as for push notifications and optional analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers. Vendors who process data on our behalf under contract, such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, crash reporting, and analytics providers. They may only use the data to provide services to us.
- Payments. If you make a purchase, it is processed by Apple through the App Store or by our payment processor. We never receive or store your full payment card details.
- Legal reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users, the public, or us.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in control of your personal information.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep it longer for legal, tax, accounting, security, or fraud prevention reasons. Backups are purged on our normal backup rotation.
6. Your rights and choices
- Access and portability. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction. Update inaccurate or incomplete information, either in the app or by contacting us.
- Deletion. Delete your account and associated data from within the app where available, or by emailing us.
- Objection and restriction. Object to or ask us to limit certain processing.
- Withdraw consent. Turn off notifications or optional analytics at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Non discrimination. We will not deny you service or charge you a different price for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any right, email collabs@prayerlock.com. We respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
7. Security
We use industry standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit over TLS, encryption at rest for stored data, access controls limiting who on our team can reach production data, and regular review of our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at collabs@prayerlock.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers out of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
10. Third party links
The Service may link to third party websites or services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies before sharing information with them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
